I’ve had the opportunity to speak at several national conferences about the value of social media for higher education institutions:

CASE Social Media and Community Conference in New Orleans, LA (March 2018): I served on the conference leadership faculty board as the Social Media Correspondent, covering the conference events on CASE’s social media platforms in March 2018. As a speaker, I presented about how to effectively and efficiently cover live events on social media.

HighEdWeb Annual Conference in Hartford, CT (October 2017): I presented a session about the value of paid social content and how to effectively use it (session overview), and a poster presentation explaining the power of a community hashtag by looking at UNMC's #IamUNMC campaign.

CASE Social Media and Community Conference in Los Angeles, CA (March 2017): As the only speaker at the conference to present two sessions, I covered how to reach your audience at a smaller higher education institution through paid social content, and effective social tools and apps for a tight budget.

Higher Ed Social Media Conference (November 2016): I presented about the importance of paid social content at a national web conference hosted by Higher Ed Experts, covering social media in higher education. Read my Three-question interview.
